- Henri Guenancia (Stony Brook): Semistability of the tangent sheaf of singular varieties
Abstract:
If X is a complex projective manifold with ample canonical bundle, then it follows from Aubin-Yau's Theorem and the Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence that the tangent bundle T_X of X is semistable (even polystable) with respect to K_X. In this talk, I will try to explain how to generalize this statement when X is a (mildly) singular variety, and also in the context of log pairs (X,D).
- Adriano Tomassini (Parma): On cohomological invariants of complex and symplectic manifolds
Abstract:
We will report on algebraic aspects of the δ1 δ2 -Lemma for bounded double complexes, characterizing it in terms of special cohomologies. As special cases, we give a characterization of ∂∂-Lemma for compact complex manifolds and of Hard Lefschetz Condition for compact symplectic manifolds
